Baby, it's cold outside.

It's kind of really cold here. 15 degrees and such. The wind is what kills you. It cuts right through the clothes and says "HELLO!!!!!!!!!" and you're like... oh Geeze. That's cold.

It was an interesting week.

Last P-day was like the best P-day ever. We actually did something and went to Niagara Falls. We didn't have the miles to go (not even close.) but got to snag a ride. It was actually a relaxing P-day. It actually felt like some sort of day off. Even though we set up 2 referrals for other missionaries while we were there. You can't go off and play without God sending you missionary opportunities. Go figure. ha!

Elder Houskeeper was pretty sick this week. He only took like 2 days off but he has been fighting sickness all week. He is pretty stubborn and I had to yell at him to stay home and tell him that Elder Buxton (his companion) and I would cover both of the areas and explained how we would schedule the day to get both done so that he would calm down. It wasn't that hard as we didn't really have set appointments for Cheektowaga and so it was just mostly covering their area.

Elder Houskeeper in a weird turn of events decided that while he was sick he was going to try and poke fun of my slightly larger personal bubble... He kept coming up to me and like wrapping himself around me and saying "Make me feel better!!!" it was pretty funny but still... In my personal bubble. He gets weird when on cold, headache and antibiotic medicines...

We did have a half day where we were able to take the car into Cheektowaga because of Elder Houskeeper being sick. It was nice because we actually were able to see people and do some missionary work with a car. I'm not excited for walking 3 hours to appointments this winter. So far we've been able to ride bikes or get rides. But ya.... It'll happen.

Sunday we actually got to have a real lesson with people! Wooo! A lady from another ward called us up and referred us to her cousin. She set up an appointment for 7:00pm yesterday (Sunday) for us to go teach with her. We showed up at the house to see her cousin and his wife sitting on the couch watching the Sabres game and her no where in site. They let us in and we had a lesson but we were all confused on where the lady was and they were caught a little offguard as they didn't 100% know that we were coming. So that is some actual solid potential investigators. Well... As solid as it gets!

I don't have any cool stories of walking up to a random person and baptizing them right there on the spot or a story of almost dying but miraculously surviving. Just little miracles here and there. Still trying and giving it my all 110% and trying to be perfectly obedient.

Hope all is well back home! Hopefully I don't become a Popsicle out here.
