This week has been full of a whole lot of tracting. Desperately trying to find someone to teach. We met one 89 year old black guy sitting on his porch who simply informed us "I'm done." Which is a lot different than the usual "I'm all set." He basically told us he has lived his life and he is done. It was a weird conversation.
Linda, our main investigator who is engaged to a Less Active Member dropped us this week. She said she wasn't interested in jumping into any religion right now and she has had her questions answered. Still on friendly terms but we we back to square 1 with no investigators.
We've had quite a few miracles from church. Last week we had 2 people completely new show up (they are both in the other elder's area). This week those same 2 came again, as well as a guy who just married a lady in the ward and a member brought her friend Cassie. Cassie went up and told the Bishop that she was ready to be baptized! Way huge miracle. The only setback is she lives in the other ward's boundaries. But her member friend lives in our ward boundaries (other Elder's area). Chances are they'll still meet with her here as she has the set up.
This upcoming week will be Zone Conference. The senior couple over Facebook Proselyting is going to be presenting a PowerPoint I made for them. Sadly, it was required to be shrunk down significantly as the useful information was too time consuming and to detailed for them. The PowerPoint still consists of a good tip or two. Not nearly as useful, sadly. But I might be able to spread the info though.
Happy Birthday, Mom, two days ago. Happy Birthday this week, Cami!
